Dory Visits the Library

This is one of my contributions to the fundraising auction at Schlitz Audubon Nature Center’s Xtreme Raptor Day. You can bid in the silent auction to win a beautiful print of this piece. I’ll also have a print of Dancing Eagles for auction as well.

Dory is a saw-whet owl, one of several permanently injured birds that the Center shows in their educational programs to the public. You might be able to meet her if you attend Xtreme Raptor Day on Saturday, November 5th. You can learn more about her and the event at http://www.schlitzaudubon.org/calendar-of-events/2016-xtreme-raptor-day. If you can’t make it that day, be sure to come out for Word with a Bird where volunteers bring out two raptors for an hour long meet and greet, every Saturday and Sunday at 1 pm.

  1. I ordered a print of Dory last week since I love these little owls and take care of one in Sitka, plus I love books & libraries. Scott was quick to acknowledge my order and I received it in excellent condition within a few days in the mail. The print is smooth and delightful ~ now I just need to go find a frame for it. Thanks Scott!
